Povich Center celebrates Class of 2018

After the Philip Merrill College of Journalism commencement ceremony on May 21, the Shirley Povich Center for Sports Journalism invited several new graduates to sign the Povich Center wall.
Six students inked their names alongside distinguished Povich Center guests including NBC’s Bob Costas, ESPN’s Kevin Merida and many more. The students received the honor in recognition of their dedication to sports journalism and the mission of the Povich Center throughout their time at the University of Maryland.
We look forward to following the careers of Alex Flum, Jake Brodsky, Liam Beatus, Kyle Melnick, Megan Smedley, Samantha Waldenberg and all our new Merrill alumni!
